We are committed to representing Alaska with pride and determination as we take on challenges.
Creating Opportunity
Provide more opportunities for skaters across Alaska to participate in roller derby, especially those who might not have other chances to play at a high competitive level.
Diversity + Inclusion
Representing the diverse geographical areas of Alaska, we unite skaters from across the state to compete in competitive roller derby by fostering an environment of inclusiveness and positive teamwork.
Positive Growth
Enhance the overall level of gameplay in Alaska by allowing skaters to return to their home leagues with new or improved skills, thus raising the standard of roller derby across the state.

In our inaugural year as Team Alaska, we are excited to showcase our skills and competitive spirit on the national stage at the Skate Wars multi-day tournament in Lansing, MI.
Skate Wars is a premier event in the roller derby community, gathering 24 high level teams that represent States, Providences, Territories, and Borderless teams to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. With our dedication and enthusiasm, we are seeking sponsorship to support our team jerseys for this significant competition which will help in establishing our team’s first national rankings.
We have a team of 16 skaters plus bench staff travelling and each person is paying out of pocket. A cost breakdown of expenses include jerseys, travel to Michigan, car rentals, Airbnb/hotels, tournament fees and more! All donations from this will go directly back to the skaters to help offset the costs.
